Artwork Files: are digital files such as Illustrator 8, Quark Express 4 & Photo Shop 4.

Back orders: are items that are temporarily out of stock.

Black & White Camera Ready Art: is defined as black and white, colour separated 600 DPI copy or artwork

Colour Separations: is a process where each colour is depicted separately on a file and when overlapped will reproduce the original image.

Custom /Special Orders: are orders that are customized or imprinted to customer specifications that may include a logo or special requirements.

Additional custom charges may vary which include: Plate charge, ink change, film charge, screen charge, colour change charge, artwork & typesetting charge, engraving charge, die charge, duty charge, brokerage fees, digitizing, etc.

Digitizing: is a process used to determine the amount of stitches required for a logo or company name for embroidery. This is the initial process required in order to embroider the logo onto a garment.

Embroidery: is the process used to thread a logo or company name directly onto a garment or product.

Graphic Formats: are digital files of you logo or artwork created in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw and saved in Adobe Illustrator *.ai or *.eps formats. Any fonts contained in these types of files must be converted to curves.

Hot stamping: is a method of imprinting that uses a metal process used on certain materials.

Logo's & Artwork: are special formats required for quality printing and customization.

Minimum Order Quantities: are minimums that are required to be ordered for economies, packaging sizes or custom orders.

Over and Underruns: Due to the difficulty of producing exact quantities, most suppliers reserve the right to ship plus or minus (+/-) 5% to 20% on custom/printed orders. This fluctuates depending on product and quantities.

PMS colour matches: are custom colours that are generated using a specific pantone colour mix in order to create a custom colour for logo's or special designs.

Pricing Structure: Prices are subject to change without notice for all products listed in this price list or on the website. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars.

Print on request/demand: are products that are not regularly stocked items.

Production Time: is an estimated time of delivery for each custom product order. These delivery times vary depending on the supplier and product choices and can also be affected by a variety of factors such as: artwork problems, artwork approval, holidays, peak periods, backorders and the method of shipment chosen.

Promotions: These are monthly specials being offered by our suppliers at discounted prices.
Proofs: are files or faxes that depict the exact size, colour and exact artwork to be depicted on the product that you are ordering. Custom orders may require a sign off on approvals.

Repeat orders/Re-orders: are exact orders that have been previously placed by a customer.

Resolution & Quality Levels: The number of dots per inch (dpi) determines the quality level. 300 dpi are generally used for printing. 600 dpi is generally used for artwork
Running charge is the cost per piece to imprint usually applying to a second colour.

Screen Printing/Silk Screening: is a method where a stencil is produced on a screen, in which the stencil protects areas for non-printing. This process of imprinting is used for apparel, nylon products, etc.

Set-up: is a charge that is determined by the supplier on the cost incurred for an individual item to set up machinery for each specific decorating method.

Standard colours: are colours that vendors usually make available at no additional cost.

Typesetting: consists of information for outputs that include point size, type face, line length, line spacing, centering and other formats.

Unit sizes: are packaging specifications used for individual products.
